Sahar's Visit

Sahar makes us complete. All four of Siamak's kids home for a wonderful summer weekend. Sahar arrived Friday night for some home cooked ghormeh sabzi and hanging out in the hood. The Khadjenoury's blended right in with 4 kids. The circle was buzzing with 15 kids playing "night games" and eating ice cream sandwiches - Norman Rockwell? I think so.

We were up early Saturday as Fred and Lavina drove "ah da way from da Rez" to see Sahar too. Poor people...Sayeh didn't wake anyone for directions at 4:30am and after they drove around for a while without locating us, Fred and Lavina slept in the car at the Del Taco down the street. After some early morning directions and lots of coffee we headed to the Farmer's Market and the Gateway to splash and play in the water. Hungry, we went to The Other Place for lunch- a former hang out for all when we were city dwellers.

Sunday Brunch on the patio at Snowbird's Atrium was where we celebrated many missed Sahar Birthdays! Happy Belated, Belated, Belated, Birthday Sahar! We love you and need you to visit us more often to celebrate more often! We are sad to see her run off to LA again - her visit was much too short! Jet set she must! It felt so good to have everyone home!
