1st of all, 2 chopsticks up for Tokia Sushi near Brickyard! mmmmmm. Ehasan found the place a few months ago distracted by the shiny import cars next door. Sashimi and Sushi can be as expensive as the cars Ehsan and Siamak want to buy but not at Tokia - very reasonable prices. The food was excellent - and the service provided a great deal of entertainment. One salad, "counts as 1 salad" - apparently if you want 4 salads...that would be more than 1 salad...- we got a lot of milage out of that.

After Dinner we went to see SLAC's, Saturday's Voyeur...OMG did we LOL!!! Hilarious! It was great fun to poke fun at Salt Lake City and its quirky culture. Mary Vixen and Doug Caprizio - were a riot and because we live in Small Lake City, Utah there were a couple of fellow Eccles Broadcast Center folks in the audience too which made it even more fun.
I do have to say that Nancy Borgenict is quite talented and I am proud to say, I knew her when... when I was Setareh's age and David, Joey and myself carpooled in her orange VW bus to Hebrew School. Two years ago, my mom gave me a copy of Joey's (I believe it is Joe Borgenict now) book, "What Not to Name Your Baby"...I ran into Joey at the Synagogue last year and he got a good laugh about Arian. Quite the talented family, those Borgenicts.
While the play was really funny and very well done, I have to give it to Siamak for making me laugh the most. Let me premise with the fact that Siamak and I are out of practice when it comes to getting out these days. So, among the greatest things about Saturday's Voyeur is you get to bring your own wine and nosh. We remembered the wine but forgot a corkscrew and glasses...no problem, they had paper coffee cups at the theater and Siamak asked the people in front of us to borrow their corkscrew. After the play and a few glasses of wine, Siamak handed me the lid to put back on the wine...it was a screw top that had been destroyed by Siamak's attempt to open with the corkscrew...I laughed harder at that than any other joke. The best part was, we hadn't even had anything to drink before he opened(shall I say, untwisted) that bottle of wine. We had a great time and I am looking forward to many more occasions for such hearty laughter .
