Man, We Are Busy

We are an exhausted and busy bunch. It actually feels great! After camping all weekend with minimal sleep we have begun another busy week.

Monday morning Siamak drove down South to Chinle and we drove North to the JCC and the U. After a long day at camp and work I picked up Sayeh at the J, picked up the kids from my mom's drove to Sandy by 5:15...for a quick change and a mad dash to get Setareh to Gymnastics and for me and Sayeh to make our 6pm Kickboxing Class. Arian went to the day care at the gym where he made some new friends and made mommy sooooo happy to be able to work out without worrying about him. What may seem like a minor detail was a huge milestone in our lives. It has taken 2 years to get to this point and I am thrilled...so happy I bought a gym daycare punch card...hooray!!! Mommy felt so good she cooked dinner, cleaned the kitchen, bathed a couple of kids, practiced piano with Setareh and worked on the blog before collapsing at 1am. Tired but it feels great.

Tuesday -another busy day with morning drop off of kids at various locations and a big day at work to rush home, fix dinner, eat dinner, practice piano and then Sayeh took Setareh to her piano lesson while Arian came with me to my JFS Board meeting (he was a good boy again).

Wednesday- we rushed around in the morning and made sure soccer practice stuff was in the car because soccer practice was @5pm and there would be no time to change before practice. Family dinner at Sweet Tomatoes at 6:30 and hurry home to get all little ones to bed before another busy day.
I try not to complain very often because I want to remember all the good things BUT: My extended family could put on happy faces when we get together and keep their opinions about the drive, restaurant, and lack of alcohol to themselves! I love to see Aunt Jenny and love that when she comes to town we all get together and that's what those cranky family people should focus on. The cousins had such a good time together (pictures to follow) which would not have been possible had we gone to a quiet city eating establishment that serves alcohol.

Thursday- we will try to focus on the things we have neglected during the 1st part of the week...garden, laundry, vacuuming...because man, are we busy!!
