Jamie Winston was an adorable 5th grader when I was the Principal and Kol Ami Religious School. All grown-up now, a student(still adorable), and writer for the U of U Daily Chronicle he wrote about my project -I am honored. I ran into Jamie's mother, Cheryl Winston, on campus almost 2 years ago - where we rekindled a lovely connection. It was wonderful to see a parent who had been so supportive of my efforts at Kol Ami a decade ago. Kol Ami made a mistake when they didn't hire me for the full time position but now they've got it right with Rafi as the Director of Education and Youth Programs - he is the perfect person doing a fantastic job. I should thank Kol Ami for the opportunity they gave me to leave SLC and experience all the challenges and growth the occured while in AZ. Those experiences lead me back to SLC and to UEN where I really feel I am in the right place. Jamie did a very nice job writing about Water Wise Utah - Thanks You!
