Parent Party

Siamak whined every time I reminded him about the Wine party for Toddler A JCC parents. He was reluctant to go to a party where we knew no one. I knew we would have fun...Wine and parents of kids at the J...what wouldn't be fun. It was very nice and the hosts were a great couple we would like to get together with again some time. I was struck by the very different ages and how a decade apart from my husband seems like nothing compared to people who graduated from high school in 1995. I had some awkwardness socializing with the younger parents - I don't' know why. Overall a lovely evening.
Very productive and fun day we had...we slept in (well, refused to get out of bed) until after 10am -went on a great bike ride to Granite Hills Park and then cleaned the garage, raked the leaves and went out for something social. No pictures from this spectacular Autumn day but I do have a blog entry!
