Pimp My Mommy Mobile!

Such a pretty mommy mobile. I enjoy my ride, but the poor Volvo has been need'n a little "pimp'n" lately. (Mom...let me translate - there is a show on MTV called Pimp My Ride it means make my car cool again, not cool as in air conditioning, cool as sporty and hip again). Sayeh doesn't think there could be anything "cool" about my Volvo Station Wagon, she calls it the "hand-vac" car. This vehicle has been the perfect mommy car for me and all my crumb making, milk spilling passengers. Siamak even thinks the Volvo can double as a truck - he put the dryer in the trunk a couple of years ago (it fit), we have filled it to the brim to go camping, and all of our IKEA purchases seem to fit perfectly - those Swedes are so in sync. We have made full use of this car. Now the mommy mobile is getting close to 90,000 miles and for a long time the check engine light has been on, we needed to replace the brakes (front and back), the coolant was leaking and there were a few other things that needed fixing. In October some body's sippy cup of milk spilled way under the front passenger seat and the odor has been unbearable. Well, after some EXPENSIVE "pimp'n" my ride is like new. Thanks to Sia's shampooing (I'll take the mildew result over the spoiled milk any day) and the grand we spent at the shop- I am ready to roll. Now that the car is running so well I just need to find a way to finance the gas. Actually, I have been making somewhat of an effort to ride Trax when possible and I might get back into taking the bus more -both to reduce my carbon footprint and help my mommy wagon stay a little pimped out.
