Happy Thoughts

Wasn't that the title of the SNL bit in the 80's? Now that I am back in blogging mode I have to write about a couple of things that make me happy.

I am still on the same wave length as my roomie from college, FeLux. Yesterday, I was driving into work thinking about my friend, how missed her and how I know the phone numbers are in my phone but I just can't seem to access them. 2 hours later my cell phone rang, with "Fe" calling. Felice was calling after returning from a spa weekend with Jenny. I am jealous my college friends get see each other regularly but I love them dearly and am happy to know that after more than 20 years we are still close despite the huge physical distance.

Setareh's brain is so sharp. The other day I asked her who are the 3 people running for President? My daughter looked at me like was out of my mind and said, "Mom, there are 4 people running...Huckabee, McCain, Obama and Hillary." Oh yeah. My little one's processing skills and sense of humor are amazing. On the way home from the gym on Thurs. she pointed out the funny Irony of a sign on 90th S. and 7th E. The sign says,

"Living Planet Aquarium" then points South directly at the Cemetery. Hilarious!

Our Health Insurance Premium was just reduced $50.00 per month - amazing and almost unheard of in today's world!
