Seder 2008 was a 1st. Uncle Howard led his 1st Seder and it was really nice. We were still a pretty big group despite the absence of my mom and dad. I was pleasantly surprised by many things that evening but most special was to see my grandma Sonia at the table. Usually, the youngest child in the family reads the 4 questions and Setareh was ready to sing in Hebrew...
Why is this night different from all others? When we got to that part of the Seder however, Sonia, read the Hebrew NOT the transliteration and stole the show!!!

That's ok there are still a few years before Arian will be asked to ask. It was wonderful. I was so happy to have a lovely Seder with both of my grandmothers, husband and children present. I was worried because we were breaking tradition and I would be missing my parents...yet, all was well! The end of the Seder concludes with, "Next year in Jerusalem." I'll end my post with, "Next year in health in Utah with all the family!"
