Well, it's sort of a funny story. In 1992, Ehsan and I worked at Rivendell Psychiatric Center. Ehasan may not remember, but I remember he had asked me to go out a couple of times but I really held off (you know I didn't want to date anyone I worked with, ha ha). After returning from a Caribbean Cruise after 1 year post college with my 3 very best buddies - I was picking up my photos at Smith's on 9th/ 9th and ran into Ehsan. We chatted a bit and then he said, "So when are we going to go get a beer?" I think I said, "Well how about this weekend." I think we met at that Veggie Vietnamese Place on 13th S. and State and had a very nice dinner, I even think there was a goodnight peck afterwords in the parking lot. Ehsan explained the difference between Arabs and Persians and all that Middle Eastern Studies from 1990 began to make a bit of sense. Anyway, I was also seeing someone else at the time and used that as an excuse not to go out again.

I think it was at least many months if not a year later that Ehasan and Siamak became roommates and well...
Ehasan casually dated while studying for the MCATs and applying to medical school and I think right about the time he made the commitment to leave for Medical School he met Hui Chong. I think Hui Chong and Ehsan have been together for more than 10 years! We love Hui Chong and are so happy for both of them. Their wedding last Saturday was spectacular!!! Ehsan cried overwhelmed with emotion - it was something! I love hanging out with Ehsan and Hui Chong as couple, now as an official couple and can't wait until they join us in suburbia. I don't know how you say congratulations in Korean or Farsi so... Mazel Tov!
