Sleep Makes All the Difference

When little Mr. gets sick he doesn't sleep and therefore - nobody sleeps. When nobody sleeps crankiness fills our house. Five nights in a row Siamak and I have been dealing with Arian at 10:30pm, 11:30pm, 1am, 2:30am and then giving in to let him in our bed at 4:30am but then no sleep after that because of the thrashing and kicking until 6:30am. We have been out of sorts, and I had a particularly bad morning this week from the days and days of interrupted sleep. Last night, however, after the antibiotics kicked in we had an amazing nights' sleep. 11pm-4am uninterrupted and a quick sip of water was all it took at 4am to put Arian back down. Then, he stayed in his bed until we woke him up at 7:30am WOW! What an amazing feeling to have only been awakened once. Sleep makes all the difference. I have to apologize to my husband and Setareh for waking up (from 3 hours maybe of sleep)on the wrong, wrong side of the bed Tues. and then I have to thank Jen for sending Ari home from Day Care to go to the Dr who sent us home with a prescription and we are all healing. Thank you!

Oh, I am so happy to hear that you all got to sleep. I wish you more of that - sleep is just one of the best things in the whole world. This coming from a person who hasn't gotten much, for one reason or another, herself in the last few day.s
