Weekend Update

The Weekend was packed yet relaxing and fun all at the same time. Friday afternoon we picked out our granite...Yipee!!! This has been the hardest part of the kitchen remodel so far. Well, I think packing up the kitchen is also no fun. I have packed away 70% of the kitchen and will finish up this week because demolition begins next Monday. The kitchen remodel is super exciting and all consuming...I even had a nightmare about the whole thing on Saturday night.

To celebrate the granite accomplishment and fight our hunger we took the kids to Olive Garden...great place for ok food and rambuncious kids. After stuffing ourselves at dinner we headed for a nice walk down to the Yogurt Stop. But we had to return on Saturdaybecause May 31st was buy one get one free. So...of course we had to make a 2nd trek but this time we gathered all the neighbors I do wonder every time we go if the yogurt really in "non- fat" I just can't believe it. Anyway, Yogurt Stop was a nice way to conclude our busy Saturday from 9am soccer, 2pm piano recital and mommy at work in Ogden all day.

Sunday was a definite "every Sunday" day! Thanks to Sara next door all worked out. Other than the damn birds (I really dispise those Magpies) waking me up before Arian ...it was a wonderful morning sipping coffee and admiring the pile. The pile needs its own post. Bike ride down to Einsteins for bagels, back up to the park for kids to play and home for a minute before Sia went to Soccer and the kids and I hit Costco. I am rather proud of my Costco shopping because I left the list at home and still remembered everything and then some of course. The evening closed with a Jazz concert at the synagogue. C'est La Vie. "Every Sunday"
