Hike to Catherine's Pass

Ahh it feels so good to be back in Utah doing things we love! Thanks to Jan and Shirley we had an appointment to hike last night. Shirley was leading the Wasatch Hiking Club (I think that's what it's called) on the hike yesterday and we sort of invited ourselves along. While is sounds silly to have a determined time and meeting location it was just what we needed to get our busy behinds out the door and into the mountains!!! We love to hike and bike and camp and be outdoors but it is hard to carve out time, organize and motivate....I am so happy we were able to do that yesterday. Sia packed sandwiches to eat in the car that were super yummy!!!

Arian and Marie hiked much of the way up -they are some amazing little kids. They rode in the backpacks down so we could get home before 3am those little legs move slowly. Setareh is an awesome little hiker too! It was so good for our bodies and soul! We have got to plan to do that more! I need to remember the camera too...I hope Jan can send some of his pictures!
