Is It My Jewish Genetics? I Couldn't Help Myself

Hodel:Well, somebody has to arrange the matches,Young people can't decide these things themselves.
Chava:She might bring someone wonderful----
Hodel:Someone interesting----
Chava:And well off----
Hodel:And important---Matchmaker, Matchmaker,Make me a match,Find me a find,catch me a catch Matchmaker, MatchmakerLook through your book,And make me a perfect match...

Last night, a colleague asked me if another colleague was married and I couldn't help myself today. Both very attractive, single, very intelligent, artistic, young professionals...after I mentioned the question that had been posed to me to the other- these emails followed. Minor problem - one lives in NY the other SLC... We'll see?

Hi Lisa,
It was a pleasure to meet (Female Colleague)and she definitely made quite an impression on me. I was disappointed I was not able to catch up with her later in the day at the WWU meeting, but please let her know that I enjoyed our brief visit.
Thanks,
(Male Colleague)

Hi (Female Colleague),
I hope you don't mind my intuition and forwarding this to you. I'll leave the rest to you both.
:-)
Lisa

Thanks Lisa. We'll see what happens. If nothing else this exchange provided a little afternoon entertainment.
(Male Colleague)
